A revelation that came from prayer
John Three Sixteen is the extraordinary result of a revelation that came through prayer.
What?
Imagine a musical instrument with a note for each letter of the alphabet.
Now imagine the letters of the Bible played as though they are music.
But...
Which translation? Each would make different music!
How?
John Three Sixteen goes back to the source of the Bible - as it was written, in Greek.
What does the original language of the New Testament Bible sound like when each character is played as a musical note?
Why?
I don't know why God wanted me to make music like this, but I have three thoughts:
1/ His creation is far beyond our expectations.
In my own little way, John Three Sixteen can help illustrate a little bit more of his amazing plan for us.
2/ Extracts from the NIV Audio Bible are being added to the music with Biblica's permission.
Repetitive listening can help memorise the Bible in a fresh new way.
3/ My biggest hope is it will inspire people to discover just how wonderful He is and establish a relationship with Him.
